3. The base fabric material is different. Ordinary PU is made of knitted fabric, woven fabric or non-woven fabric as base fabric and coated with polyurethane resin. The microfiber leather is made of microfiber non-woven fabric with a three-dimensional structure as the base fabric and coated with high-performance polyurethane resin. The different materials, processes, and technical standards of the base fabric are decisive factors for the performance of the microfiber.
Fourth, the performance is different. Microfiber leather is better than ordinary PU in terms of strength, abrasion resistance, moisture absorption, comfort and other more performance indicators. Generally speaking, it is more like leather, more durable, and feels better.
5. Market prospects. The ordinary PU market has severe overcapacity due to low technical thresholds and fierce competition, resulting in product reduction in labor and materials, which is incompatible with the increasingly upgraded consumption concept, and the market prospect is worrying. However, due to the high technical threshold and limited production capacity of microfiber leather, product performance is increasingly recognized by consumers, and the market has a large room for growth.
